WEST OLIVE (WHTC) - Ottawa County commissioners are expected Tuesday to approve a lease agreement for a new county Health Department building in the city of Grand Haven. The county board’s Finance and Administration Committee is recommending the move to a 2,200-square-foot building in the 12-hundred block of Beechtree Street, which is about one-fourth the size of the current Health Department building on Ferris Street in Grand Haven Township. The county would then sell the Ferris Street site. County officials say the move will save the county about 100-thousand dollars annually.
