WASHINGTON (WHTC) - The US House leadership handed out committee assignments yesterday. Zeeland’s Bill Huizenga was named vice-chairman of the Monetary Policy and Trade Subcommittee, which oversees the Federal Reserve and other economic matters. This panel is part of the House Financial Services Committee, which the second-term Republican was a member of during the past two years and will remain on in the new Congress.
