UNDATED (WHTC) -- An artifact recovered from the World Trade Center after 9-11 will be shared by the American Red Cross of Berrien County to other communities in southwest Michigan. Members of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department, Kalamazoo Fire Department and the City of Allegan Fire Department will escort the artifact. It will be on display at the Griswold Auditorium in Allegan on September 12th. There’s also a blood drive that day from noon until 5:45 P.M. President George W. Bush signed a resolution designating September 11 of each year as Patriot’s Day into law on December 18, 2001.
