BLENDON TWP., MI (WHTC) - A Holland couple and a 23-year-old Hudsonville woman are all expected to recover from a head-on crash in Blendon Township last night. According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Greg Rotman, Brittani Farraher was driving her car eastbound on Port Sheldon Street and had just passed 60th Avenue, while the pickup truck driven by 56-year-old Kathy Diemer, with her 55-year-old husband Richard sitting beside her, was headed in the opposite direction. Farraher’s car lost control on the icy roadway and skidded into the path of Diemer’s vehicle. The pickup veered into the front yard of a residence, stopping just short of striking the house. All three persons involved were taken to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
