HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Charges have been filed following a shooting at a Holland residence last week.

Donald Winston Cobb was allegedly involved as the incident occurred around 17th Street and Central Avenue about 10:45 PM on November 7th. He had reportedly been arguing with an unnamed person over a drug deal when shots were fired, and the 27-year-old Holland Township man, along with another person, drove off before Public Safety officers arrived. While the apparent victim, who was not wounded, eventually refused to cooperate with investigators, shell casings at the scene confirmed that a shooting had taken place, and officers were able to pull over the vehicle a short time and distance later. The driver was held on unrelated charges, and authorities didn’t immediately say if Cobb had been the driver or the other person in the vehicle, who was released at the time “pending further investigation.”

Cobb was arraigned on felonious assault, felon in possession of a firearm and felony firearms charges, and remains held in the Ottawa County Jail on 10 thousand dollars bond pending a scheduled pre-preliminary hearing on November 19th.
