UNDATED (WHTC) -- A Grand Haven man involved in an election forgery case could catch a break as the charges against him were recently downgraded.  The State Attorney General is appealing that action in the case of 23-year-old Brandon Michael Hall.  Right now, Hall faces up to a $500 fine and/or up to 93 days in jail if he’s convicted on 10 counts of election forgery on the misdemeanor level.  He was originally facing felony charges in the matter and if those charges get reinstated, Hall could be sentenced to five years in prison.  The appeal against the downgraded charges was filed on October 31st.
