GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) - A year in jail and over three thousand dollars in fines was the sentence handed down yesterday to Derek Kraai, one of three men in their late teens from Holland’s North Side accused of a string of business burglaries across Ottawa County this summer. He and Damien Sosa agreed to plea deals with prosecutors in exchange for their testimony against the third man, Sosa’s brother Malachi, who is slated for trial next month. Kraai could be released in June due to time already served.
