ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, MI (WHTC) -- An accident in Robinson Township Tuesday morning has one person in the hospital. The Ottawa County Sheriffs Office was dispatched to a one vehicle accident about 8 A.M. Lt Steve Kempker said that 38-year-old Jennifer Duarte of Grand Haven was northbound on 120th Avenue on her way home from her third shift job in the Holland area. The initial investigation shows that she drifted across the center line, went off the roadway, striking a driveway abutment then becoming airborne and striking a tree. The vehicle rolled and Duarte was pinned for a short time. She was extricated by Robinson County Fire Department. Duarte was treated at the scene and then taken by AeroMed to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. Kempker said that as of early Tuesday afternoon, her condition is unknown. The accident is still under investigation.
