ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - In their first business meeting of the New Year, the Allegan County Board of Commissioners unanimously reelected Mark DeYoung of Dorr as chairman for a fourth straight year. Jim Storey of Holland is the new vice chairman, succeeding Tom Jessup of Casco Township who wished to relinquish those duties. Commissioners are looking forward to the spring opening of a new county jail off of River Street in Allegan.
