HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Gas prices spiked along the Lakeshore yesterday afternoon, rising from around $3.10 to this morning’s weekly survey per-gallon average among Holland area stations of a near-uniform $3.45. This is 14 cents higher than last Friday and 15 cents more than at this time in 2013. Industry experts say that Arctic weather conditions and refinery issues led to the sharp increase. Triple-A’s national daily survey mark is at $3.31.
