SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC) - The Saugatuck Dunes Coastal Alliance has formally appealed the Saugatuck Township Planning Commission’s approval of the first phase of the Singapore Dunes development. The holding company of Aubrey McClendon wants to build 25 upscale single-family homes on 310 acres near the mouth of the Kalamazoo River. SDCA officials claim the development would negatively impact “aggrieved property owners.”
