WEST OLIVE, MI (WHTC) - The first of three meetings on hydraulic fracturing, hosted by the Ottawa County Planning and Performance Improvement Department, is this evening at the county’s Fillmore Street Complex. Three experts will discuss the pros and cons of this controversial “fracking” procedure that improves production in oil and gas wells. The deadline to reserve a seat was last Thursday. Other meetings are on February 27th and March 20th.
