HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- A recommendation on the Use of Right of Way in Downtown Policy by the Community and Neighborhood Services was approved but not without some discussion and some dissension among City Council members. Councilman Brian Burch wanted to know if there have been complaints about street closures. Downtown Manager Dana Kollewehr said not she’s been on board that long but she hasn't heard any complaints and that she hasn't heard any complaints from staff members on related to other events or activities. The recommendation was approved by a vote of 6-3 with Brian Burch, Todd Whiteman and Wayne Klomparens.
