HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- Holland City Council members have a busy evening planned for Wednesday’s regular meeting. A zoning change to highway commercial from planned residential development is being considered along Interchange Drive. A public hearing is required before a vote can be taken. Also under consideration is the reinstatement of the lodging license for the Economy Inn. The motel’s license was revoked in November and the premises were vacated before Christmas. City documents show that a lot of work has been done and city staffers are recommending that the lodging license be reinstated.
