ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - A 23-year-old Plainwell man is free on bond after an arraignment child abuse charges. Prosecutors claim that Anthony McFarlane Junior violently shook his two-month-old daughter last December, causing severe head trauma that was brought to the attention of state police investigators when the child was treated at Bronson Hospital. McFarlane is also awaiting sentencing on an unrelated stabbing incident in Otsego.
