HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- You don’t have to travel to Grand Rapids to take part in Gilda’s Laughfest. A number of events are scheduled in Holland as part of the festivities. Gilda’s Club Executive Director Wendy Wigger is a native of Holland and says she’s glad that more events are being scheduled for Holland. A featured artist is Christian comedian Jeff Allen. He'll perform at Hope College Dimnent Memorial Chapel this Saturday, March 15th. The show begins at 7 P.M. and general admission tickets are $22.50. Some free events will take place in Holland as part of Laughfest. On Thursday, a free show is scheduled at Evergreen Commons featuring the ReActors at 7 P.M. The Holland Area Arts Council has an Amatuer Standup Showcase followed by a Late Night Stadnup Showcase on Thursday and Friday evenings. And if you think your child is funny take them to Herrick District Library on Saturday for Kid’s Joke Day. More information can be found at http://laughfestgr.org
