UNDATED (WHTC) -- Jurors in a cold case double murder trial heard from forensic pathologist Dr. Stephen Cohle on Wednesday in the deaths of Rick and Gail Brink. Dr. Cohle said evidence inside Rick Brink’s Chevy Blazer makes it appear likely that the body was moved. There are reports that the sus[pect’s wife, Pam Wyngarden is expected to take the stand Thursday afternoon. Police and prosecutors allege that the suspect, Ryan Wyngarden, Gail’s brother, killed both Rick and Gail. The defense says that the killings could have been a case of mistaken identity and that the killer or killers could be linked to the previous owner of the home that the Brinks lived in. Wyngarden could be sentenced to life in prison if he’s convicted.
