HIFA Director to Head to Japan

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- The city of Holland announced a Friendship-City relationship in December of 2013 with the city of Nagahama, Japan.  Holland International Friendship Association Executive Director Christopher Stephens will be headed to Japan in the next couple of weeks and hopes to get a student exchange program restarted. He says there was an exchange program with Japan for almost 20 years. That program ended a couple of years back but he's hoping to get it started again this coming Fall.  Stevens also says the HIFA will be involved with Holland’s 6^th annual Multicultural Festival which happens on June 7^th.
