ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - Perrigo officials announced yesterday a 283 million-dollar purchase of Rosemont Pharmaceuticals. The British specialty and generic prescription drug maker produces more than 90 products, and the acquisition will allow the Allegan-based firm to utilize Rosemont’s diverse pipeline, favorable demographics and export opportunities for further growth. Perrigo will absorb 200 employees into its own workforce as part of the deal.
