HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- Spring has made an appearance just in time for the city of Holland’s major festivals. Today is the first day of Tulip Time and the second day of the Latin Americans United for Progress Fiesta. Tulips are blooming all over town and teens are in traditional Dutch and Hispanic garb. Klompen can be heard around Kollen Park and Mariachi bands stroll the Fiesta. The scent of cinnamon elephant ears and the different smells from traditional Hispanic foods fill the air in Downtown Holland. All of these sights, scents and sounds show the diversity in the Holland community. Make sure you get outside to take part.
