UNDATED (WHTC) -- Saturday was the first official day of tulip Time and it began with the Tulip Time 10K and 5K Runs. The men’s winner in the 10K was 25-year-old David Mart of Zeeland with a time of 33:09. The 10K women’s winner is 16-year-old teen Mary Mendoza of Fennville with a time of 42:21. The 5K men’s winner, with a time of 15:54, is Holland’s Sam Pederson. Bethany Wolter, also of Holland, won the women’s 5K with a time of 19:18. Tulip Time continues through next Saturday, May 10th.
