HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Two vacancies on the Holland Board of Education have been filled. Janet DeYoung, the former President and CEO of the Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area, along with Susan DeJong, who had been on the board for eight years before opting not to run for reelection in 2011, were appointed by the panel to replace Jack Gisinger and Ed Walters on June 30th; their terms will run through November.
