HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - A 42-year-old Holland Township man remains in the Ottawa County Jail on 250 thousand dollars bond after arraignment in Holland District Court yesterday on various charges. Christopher Walters allegedly fired a shotgun into a house adjacent to his parents’ 132nd Avenue residence last Friday night. Authorities claim that the shooting came following an argument with his parents, and that nobody in either house was injured. Walters had eluded a police perimeter search for four hours before being spotted by a neighbor at his 136th Avenue home the next morning. He has a Friday pre-preliminary hearing date scheduled.
