LANSING, MI (WHTC) - ACT numbers for public high schools and charters in Michigan were disclosed this morning.
The overall average score for the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District, which covers most of the Lakeshore, was 21, ranging from 24.3 for Black River and 22.1 for Saugatuck to 19.3 for Holland High. In between were Hamilton at 21.5, Zeeland East at 21.2, Zeeland West at 20.8 and West Ottawa at 20.4 Fennville, which is in the Allegan Area ESD, had the lowest mean locally at 17.3.
Private schools such as Holland Christian and Calvary Schools of Holland were not included in this report.
