UNDATED (WHTC) -- Brian Ellis, running as a Republican candidate for current U.S. Representative Justin Amash’s seat, received a big endorsement from former U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra. Today, Amash counters with an endorsement from Tea Party member and current Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz. Amash is also endorsed by conservative groups Club for Growth and Freedom Works. Members of the DeVos family have donated thousands to Amash’s campaign.
