GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) - The owner of the Hudsonville building that Lamar Construction used as its headquarters has asked the US Bankruptcy Court to evict the company. Erectors Incorporated of Holland claims that it is owed over 47 thousand dollars on the 45 thousand square-foot building off of I-196 near 32nd Avenue. Lamar filed for Chapter 7 liquidation last week after abruptly ending its 70-year-old construction and structured steel operations, claiming that a bank’s line of credit had been pulled, and forcing nearly 300 workers onto the unemployment lines.
