PARK TOWNSHIP, MI (WHTC) -- The saga of the Park West Drain District continued Wednesday evening at a local restaurant. Martha Urbin, a very vocal resident who is opposed to the drain being proposed said that 60 residents showed up for the meeting at Turk’s Restaurant.
Urbin said her individual assessment is $6,590. Though the Drain District is occupied by almost 18-hundred residents, the assessments are only being charged to 713 residents. Urbin says she will continue to fight what she calls an “unfair assessment.”
