HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Less than five thousand dollars in damage and no injuries were reported when a lightning strike sparked a small fire at Holland Christian’s South Shore Middle School yesterday afternoon. Classes were in session at the time, but students, teachers and staff moved quickly into the adjacent high school building, and Public Safety crews quickly put out the flames coming out of the roof of a small gym in the structure’s second floor. District officials say classes will resume at the school today.
