HOLLAND (WHTC) -- This summer’s final street performer series installment is tonight. Kara de Alvare from the City of Holland said that coordinators were very pleased with the success of the series this year.
"We had a great summer, great crowds, we got really luck with the weather this summer too, we didn't have to cancel a single one due to rain which I don't think that has ever happened," de Alvare said.
Tonight’s series will feature Holland locals Randy and Darlene Schaap. The couple plays a variety of musical instruments and genres. They’ve been performing for nine years in the series and had an appearance on the AMC reality show “Showville.” Over 30 performers will line Eighth Street in downtown Holland from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30. As always, it is free to enjoy, but tips are encouraged.
