HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) - An 18-year-old Holland man spent some time last night on a hospital bed because he was driving too fast.
Ottawa County Sheriff's Sergeant Matt Wildfong and deputies were called to River Hills Drive near 129th Street, in a subdivision south of the Lakewood Boulevard/Beeline Road junction on Holland's North Side, around 9:40 PM. A car was apparently speeding along, failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, lost control, went off of the roadway and struck a tree. Taaron Robertson was extricated by rescue workers and was taken to Holland Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
