GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) -- Police responded to an armed robbery Tuesday afternoon at a cash-advance store on S. Beacon Blvd. According to the Grand Haven Tribune, an employee of Allied Cash Advance in Grand Haven contacted police after being robbed this afternoon. It’s reported that the robber was female, about 5’10”, medium build and wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt. She held up the employee with a handgun and stole money. A K-9 unit from the county was called to help in the search. Due to all of the foot traffic in the area, the K-9 unit was not able to pick up a scent.
