
JAMESTOWN TWP., MI (WHTC) - A two-vehicle crash south of Hudsonville overnight hospitalized an 18-year-old Grandville woman and a 66-year-old Hudsonville man. Sheriff’s Sergeant Matt Wildfong and deputies were dispatched around 2 AM to Riley Street and 32nd Avenue in Jamestown Township, finding two vehicles in the ditch off of that intersection. Faith Howell was driving her car westbound on Riley Street and went through a stop sign on 32nd Avenue. Her vehicle struck the southbound truck of Barry VanderVeldt. Howell was taken to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital; VanderVeldt to Holland Hospital. Both suffered non-life threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
