
UNDATED (WHTC) -- Today is World Habitat Day, a day set aside annually to recognize the basic right of all humanity to adequate shelter, and to encourage grassroots action toward ending poverty housing. Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity is celebrating World Habitat Day with a community event at the ReStore. The free event includes food and drinks, children’s activities, door prizes and 25% off at the ReStore. Executive Director Jack Zandstra says it’s a celebration of projects completed and future projects.
1450 WHTC and 92.7 the Van will be at the event which begins at 5 P.M.
