UNDATED (WHTC) -- The Holland League of Women Voters is hosting a candidate’s forum this evening, featuring the candidates for Michigan’s 89th House District, incumbent Amanda Price and Democratic challenger Don Bergman. Bergman says he has fundamental differences with the Republican Party.
He also has concerns about the environment, saying that he trusts science. Bergman says that scientists tell us we are degrading the systems of the Earth that enabled us to flourish. He believes that the government should put a stop to the degradation as soon as possible.
The public forum also features Sarah Howard, Democratic challenger to incumbent Republican, Arlan Meekhof. At press time, Meekhof is not expected to attend. The forum begins at 7 P.M. this evening and takes place at the Park Township Hall on 152nd Avenue.
