
UNDATED (WHTC) -- The Secretary of State’s office has issued an alert pertaining to absentee ballot applications. Voters that used a third-party online absentee ballot application not sanctioned by the state should double-check the status of their request, either by checking the Michigan Voter Information Center at http://michigan.gov/vote or by contacting the local clerk. Holland Deputy City Clerk Anna Perales says that she’s not aware of any problems but the city has received more than the usual number of absentee ballot requests.
The general election takes place on Nov. 4th.
