ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - The last “Candidates Forum” sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the Holland Area before next Tuesday’s General Election is this evening. The 90-minute session in the Allegan County Tech and Ed Center that begins at 7 PM features State Senator Tonya Schuitmaker and challengers Jim Walters and William Wenzel answering questions from those attending submitted to a League moderator. Other LWV forums this season featured races involving state legislative and Saugatuck City Council seats, but none with Congressmen Bill Huizenga and Fred Upton and their challengers.
