LEIGHTON TWP., MI (WHTC) - No names have been disclosed, but a pedestrian was struck by an apparent hit-and-run vehicle in northeast Allegan County just before 12 Midnight on Friday evening. The victim was dropped off to a residence on Division Street near 146th Avenue north of Wayland by unknown persons, who left the scene before state troopers from arrived, and was eventually taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Investigators want to talk to those who took the victim to the residence, and tips to the Wayland state police post are welcome.
