HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - There is less than 48 hours remaining of negative campaign ads on television, radio and the Internet.
Election experts are predicting normal mid-term election voter turnout for tomorrow's General Election along the Lakeshore, around the state and across the country on Tuesday, with some saying that increased attack messages, mostly by political action committee and party campaigns, may turn people off from going to the polls. In a joint appearance with state House Representative Amanda Price (R-Park Township) on WHTC's "Talk of the Town" program today, Congressman Bill Huizenga of Zeeland told host Juke Van Oss that he hopes that this isn't the case. The two-term incumbent Republican is challenged by Democrat Dean VanderSteldt, a Spring Lake businessman.
Attached to this story is a brief video segment of the joint appearance; a full audio podcast is in "Talk of the Town with Juke Van Oss" in the podcast tab of the WHTC.com website.
