HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - A 17-year-old Holland woman is recovering from non-life threatening injuries suffered when she was struck by a car around 7:45 this morning. The unnamed victim was in the crosswalk crossing State Street at River Avenue when she was hit by a vehicle turning left from River onto State. She may have suffered some broken bones when she was taken to Holland Hospital for treatment. The unnamed 60-year-old Holland woman driving the vehicle claimed that she didn’t see the pedestrian crossing as she was cited for failing to yield right of way. The incident remains under investigation.
