LAKETOWN TOWNSHIP (WHTC) - The Felt Mansion has come up a bit short in its effort to receive a $25,000 grant to expand a summer concert series. The mansion in Laketown Township did not make the Top10 for the Levitt Amp Your City Grant Award contest, but was selected as a second alternate should two of the qualifying communities decide not to follow through with their concert series. The mansion finished among the top 20 vote-getters in the nationwide contests, from which 10 winners were selected. The contest seeks to promote live music events in small to medium-size communities.
