HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - During an appearance on Tuesday's WHTC's "Talk of the Town" program, Holland School Superintendent Brian Davis talked with host Juke Van Oss about a "Doing More Together" initiative that brings together private and public educational leaders throughout the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District. In the video segment here, Davis talked about, instead of being competitive over getting each other pupils in the state's "Schools of Choice" era, this program encourages cooperation in improving learning for students throughout the Lakeshore.
Davis also talked about the latest developments in his district, and his skepticism over proposed state per-pupil funding increases in the Governor's budget presentation made last month.
