NUNICA, MI (WHTC) - Crews from three departments helped put out a house fire north of Nunica late yesterday afternoon. Heavy smoke was seen coming out from the crawl space when first responders arrived at the residence off of 120th Avenue near Taft Street. Those inside of the home were able to escape safely as smoke started billowing out of the vents. No firefighters were hurt in the incident. No cause of the fire was immediately determined.
