ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - The second of two public hearings on a proposed “splash pad” in Zeeland was held last night. City Marketing Manager Abby deRoo presented a possibility for placing it downtown at the site of a fountain on the corner of Central and Church that could be renovated. Various options were brought up before the group in a similar presentation that had been done before City Council members during a work-study session last Monday. It’s not known if the Council members will take it up in earnest for a possible vote when they hold their next meeting on April 22nd.
