HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - A Recycle Rewards collection effort along the Lakeshore was announced yesterday. Customers of both Holland BPW and Consumers Energy are asked to take old but still operational refrigerators, freezers, room air conditions and dehumidifiers to the BPW offices on Hastings Avenue from 9 AM to 1 PM on May 18th, the Saturday after Tulip Time. Donors can earn up to 60 dollars each for a couple of large scale appliances, and 15 dollars each for up to two smaller machines. Old electronic items, working or not, will also be accepted.
