ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - Gentex disclosed first quarter financial results this morning. The Zeeland-based specialty parts maker saw net sales fall seven percent from last year to 269.5 million dollars, with net income down two percent to 45.4 million, and earnings flat at 32 cents per share. “Difficult production environments” in the Far East and Europe were cited by company officials as reasons for the decline, and future estimates are seen as flat.
