ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - In the latest annual rankings of public high schools in America, Zeeland West placed among the top five percent. District officials boasted that the Dux were 23rd in the state and 908th nationally, earning a silver medal from the magazine for their overall student performance on state assessment, advanced placement and international baccalaureate tests, along with how well the school educated minority and low-income students. Spring Lake was tops in this polling among high schools in Allegan/Ottawa Counties, placing 10th statewide.
