LANSING, MI (WHTC) - Unemployment dropped along the Lakeshore last month. In numbers released yesterday by the state Department of Technology, Management and Budget, joblessness in Ottawa County during March stood at 6.2 percent, down a half of a percentage point from February, and more than a point and a half less than a year ago. In Allegan County, the 7.0 mark was six tenths lower than February, and nearly a point down from 2012.
