BENTON HARBOR, MI (WHTC) - A candlelight vigil was held last night for two women killed in an accident on westbound I-94 near Benton Harbor on Sunday afternoon. Jaquiesha Wright, an 18-year-old Chicago woman, was driving 19-year-old Rashell Allen of Holland when she swerved her car to avoid tire debris, struck a box truck, veered across the median into oncoming traffic, and slammed into a semi head on. The driver of the tractor-trailer, William Adkisson, 57, of Casey, Ill., received minor injuries, while the box truck driver was uninjured. The westbound lanes of I-94 were closed for about four hours. This incident remains under investigation.
