HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- The first parade of this year’s Tulip Time Festival is on Wednesday. The Perrigo Volksparade starts at 2 p.m. Something that happens right before the parade is the street scrubbing. At 1:15, the traditional Street Scrubbers get to work, including Michigan’s Governor, Rick Snyder and Holland’s Mayor, Kurt Dykstra, scrubbing the streets from Columbia Avenue to Kollen Park along 8th St and Van Raalte Avenue. The parade begins at 2 p.m. sharp, led by former Zeeland Mayor, Les Hoogland.
