HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- In an effort to help troubled teens, the city of Holland is working with Escape Ministries on a program to put teens to work.  City Manager Ryan Cotton says they are in the application process now.  Escape Ministries has already received several applications and will interview the teens prior to them meeting with the city’s H-R Department.  The Holland Youth Connections program plans to hire six youths, ages 14 to 17, to work three days per week, four hours per day, from June 18th until August 22nd.  They’ll be paid a bit above minimum wage, $7.75 per hour.  For more information, contact Escape Ministries at 796-0538.
